This place is a great option for those looking for a tranquil retreat. the common areas have spacious grounds with stunning views of the vineyards and distant mountains. the rooms have loads of character and are well equipped with comfortable beds and soft towels. the breakfast is really good, with lots of options to choose from. there are many activities available in the surrounding area such as wine tasting and olive oil tasting.
The location may not be ideal for those looking for places to visit within walking distance.

Spent Christmas at a lovely countryside retreat and couldn't have asked for more. the warm welcome received from the hosts helped us relax and feel at home right away. the food was exceptional, with rich flavorsome dishes for dinner and a large farmhouse breakfast each morning. the surrounding vineyard provided a feeling of seclusion and tranquility during our stay. We enjoyed taking walks amongst the grapevines and admiring the beautiful nature. the historic rooms were impeccably styled, and the beds were really comfortable providing a sound night's sleep.
Although the room was spacious, it would have been nice to have had a TV and stronger shower with hotter water. the TV room was a cozy alternative and allowed us to socialize with the other guests.

I recently stayed at a guesthouse nestled in a quiet area behind the mountains. The hotel's attention to detail was impressive; from the antique-style rooms with electric blankets on comfortable single beds, to the friendly and accommodating staff who made me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The breakfast included was a delightful start to each day, with a variety of options to choose from. it was a great value for money experience, and I appreciated the hotel's location near the centre of Clan William.
Everything was perfect; no improvements needed.

All was well, nothing that I believe could be improved.

Great place to stay in the Cape with lovely owners and staff. The hotel has a unique design with beautiful collectibles. The purple room had a huge bathroom and comfy beds. Four playful dogs and two cats added to the charm. Breakfast from farmer's products was delicious.
Nothing all excellent.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! the location was perfect for me - tucked away behind the mountains and in a very quiet area, it offered the solitude and tranquility I was seeking. Secondly, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. And thirdly, the rooms were cozy and comfortable, with electric blankets and a private bathroom. The antique style of the furniture added a charming touch to the overall ambiance. Oh, and breakfast was included, which was a great bonus!
All was just perfect!
